Games: Ubisoft E3 Press Conference Round-Up

Beyond Good and Evil 2

The new trailer shown at Ubisoft’s Press Conference brought you a blast from the past with the return of several characters from the original game.  See the trailer below!

The Division 2

This game received a new trailer at the Ubisoft Presser with the addition of a couple of announcements.  Raids are coming to the game which will allow up to eight players to team up with to face challenges.  The game will also receive 3 episodic DLC updates.  Each will contain a new story, areas, and activities.  Check out the full reveal below!

Skull and Bones

Skull and Bones made its second appearance in 2 years with new footage.  This appears to be an obvious spin off inspired by the world of Black Flag. The game is set in the Indian Ocean in a world where “every player encounter matters”.  The game is coming in 2019 and has a sign up for the open beta now.

For Honor: Marching Fire

A new expansion for For Honor called Marching Fire was announced on the Ubisoft stage today. The expansion adds a new Chinese expansion adding 4 new fighters.  It is being dubbed the “biggest and most ambitious addition to the game so far”.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle: Donkey Kong Adventure

Announced earlier this month, the new expansion was announced for Mario + Rabbids with a brand new trailer.  This was one of my favorites of 2017 and the expansion looks great!  Even better news, the game drops on June 26.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas

In, perhaps, the most surprising reveal of the show, Starlink made a return to E3 with an ace in the hole.  Announced today, all owners of a Nintendo Switch will be getting special content for this game starring Fox McCloud. This is a shrewd move by Nintendo securing a true hit for the console this fall.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Finally, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is coming on October 5.  The game takes place in Ancient Greece during the Peloponnesian War.  Dialogue choice has been added to the game with your choice of playing as male or female.  The content has also been refined and I’m certainly looking forward to jumping back into this world.  See the reveal below!

Stay tuned for more news on E3 and keep doing it the Player Way!
