FILM: Trailer Alert!

Annnnnnd we’re back! No, not the 1993 classic animated movie about friendly dinosaurs in New York City but another installment bringing you movie trailers! If it’s one thing we can count on from Hollywood it’s that they will always trailers for some movie coming out. Let’s go ahead and dive right in.

1. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

I won’t lie. I definitely watched this trailer a few more times than was probably socially acceptable but who cares. The next installment in the prequel series to the Harry Potter franchise, Fantastic Beasts 2 is closer than we think and will be here before we know it. With Johnny Depp reprising his role as the unforgiving villain, Grindelwald and Eddie Redmayne as our titular hero, Newt Scamander, and the addition of Jude Law as our young Albus Dumbledore this movie will surely be one enjoy.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be out in theaters 11/16/18.

2. Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2

Ok, there are not many words to describe just how excited I am about this sequel. I mean come on! Disney has been quite busy over the past few years I almost didn’t event think this would happen. I know, shame on me. The journey that our smoothly pixelated hero and heroine embark on will surely be full of laughs and maybe a little gut-wrenching at times. What’s really interesting is that Alan Tudyk is back as well. He formerly voiced the sinister King Candy/Turbo but was seemingly erased from existence at the end of the first movie(Spoilers). Is he back?! I GOTS TO KNOW!

Wreck-It Ralph 2 signs in to theaters Thanksgiving 2018.

3. Lost In Space (Netflix Original Series)

After Netflix announced that they were planning on bringing us around 700 titles of original movies and shows this year I was pretty astounded. To be honest I’m not sure if most of us can name 700 titles of movies or shows off the tops of our heads now due how much we binge watch the titles we’re already comfortable with. Anyway, Netflix does a decent job to say the least. Lost In Space is one of these titles. It’s actually a remake of a 60’s television show as well as a couple of movies. One of which involved this guy

Yes, that is Joey from the hit TV show Friends played by Matt LeBlanc. Although the movie version he played in didn’t do so well with the critics and we all thought Lost In Space would be well…lost…forever. But Netflix seems to have transformed this title back to its original episodic format. I am actually pretty excited to watch this. All episodes will be “found”(terrible pun I know) available to stream on Netflix on April 13, this year.
