Games: Nintendo Direct Announcements

A lot of big news came down the pike for the Big N! It looks like the momentum will continue. Take a look at all the stuff coming for Switch in 2018. Here are some highlights. And you can watch the full video, below, after the jump.

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle

Ubisoft has announced that Mario + Rabbids will be adding Donkey Kong as a playable character as well as a new story featuring the character. The new DLC back will launch in the Spring.

Mario Tennis Aces

A new Mario Tennis is bringing a new level of skill to the series. The game is adding a brand new story mode not seen since Mario Tennis on the GameBoy Advance. The Story Mode will feature a variety of missions and boss battles. This title will launch in the Spring.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition

Hyrule Warriors is coming to Nintendo Switch this Spring. This will be the definitive version that will bring every map, character, and mode featured on Wii U and 3DS versions. The game will also feature characters from Breath of the Wild. Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition will launch in the spring.

Mario Odyssey: Luigi’s Balloon World

A free update is coming to Mario Odyssey. After beating the main story and downloading the update, a new activity called Luigi’s Balloon World will be available in the game. Talk to Luigi and play two competitive modes. In Hide it Mode, you have 30 seconds to hide a balloon. In Find it Mode, you have 30 seconds to find balloons hidden in the world by other players. By competing in both modes, you can move up in the rankings based on your skills in hiding and finding. The key is knowing every nook and cranny of the world of Mario Odyssey. New outfits are coming to the update, too. The update is coming in February.

Fe

Explore a dark forest to uncover the secrets that lurk in the shadows. The new platformer Fe coming from Electronic Arts will be arriving on Switch on February 16. It is a truly gorgeous game.

Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze

This classic Wii U title is making its way onto the Nintendo Switch. Now you can play this game anywhere and anytime with co-op mode and enhanced graphics and content. The game comes to Switch on May 4.

Dark Souls Remastered

WHAT!?!?!? The original Dark Souls is making its way to Nintendo Switch in a new Remastered version. Not much known about the content. However, the game will launch on May 25.
