Sword-yielding gamers rejoice:  SoulCalibur 6 has been finally announced to be released in 2018! The franchise has gained popularity with core gamers for nearly twenty years by capturing hand to hand combat with intense weaponry. The 6th edition of the series looks to be an impressive competitive fighter game for multi-platforms, showing some incredible game-play advances since the last title.

This release comes as a much awaited project as its predecessor, SoulCaliber 5 was released back in 2012 on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

The announcement was made by Bandai Namco on The Game Awards and is set to be released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC sometime in 2018. SoulCalibur 6 will be run on Unreal Engine, the same platform that has brought us the Tekken series. Check out the awesome trailer below!
